THING TO TAKE INTO ACCOUNT WHEN PURCHASING WEB DESIGN SERVICES:

Domain name The name of your website, ie: www.mywebsiterocks.com. This is is not included in the cost. I recommend GoDaddy as I have worked with them for 15 years now and they are reliable, long-term-reliable, which is important. If you have a domain name with another company, I can connect it for you, no problem. If you need a domain name, I can help you with this also.

Hosting Many people get confused between all the website jargon, but basically, web hosting can be described like this: You website is your car, and the hosting is the parking lot for which you pay monthly/yearly parking fees. With a Wix website, you must host the website with Wix.

Hosting options Once your Wix website is designed you will have a few payment options to choose from, please read about the hosting plans on their website if you would like to know exactly what their fees are. In general, wherever you go, hosting fees tend to be the same, give or take. ie: Wordpress, Shopify, etc.

Free PLAN This means your website will have a Wix banner up the top, it does not disturb the website and many people don't mind this, but it is more professional to not have this, of course. The free option does not come with the bells and whistles, like captcha on your forms, form uploads, payments, etc. Although, sometimes we can find other ways to work around this.

COMBO PLAN This is the cheapest hosting, it removes the Wix banner and allows for added extras that the free hosting doesn't. Please read the Wix Plans on their website to know more details.

BUSINESS PLAN This is fore websites that require more business features than simpler websites. Pl

ascend plan Some of you may be required to purchase an Ascend Plan, depending on what your needs are. For more advanced forms, for e-commerce payments, for Live Customer Chat and other such added extras, an Ascend plan might be required on top of your Combo or Business Plan, which is for hosting. The Ascend Plan is for the added extras to do with customer communication, advertising, etc.

EMAIL Some of you may already have your official email set up for your business --and by this we don't mean something like mybusinessrocks@gmail.com-- an official email matches your domain name, so it could be info@mybusinessrocks.com. You can choose to have your email addresses with your domain provider or even with Wix, we can discuss this if you don't already have emails set up. Otherwise, just so you know, it doesn't matter where your email is set up. ​

THe asterix | things to know about your web design package:

Logo Some of you may already have a logo, for those of you who don't, I highly recommend having one for your business or branding. You can find someone to design one for you or I can design one for you, I have designed many over the years. This is an additional cost to the web design package.

PRODUCTS & videos/audio Depending on how many products, videos or audio your package allow you to have, please take into account that there is an extra cost for additional uploads. Products and video/audio do not include descriptions, however you can order a Product Description package if you require this. I highly recommend captivating and unique product descriptions if you are selling products, it can make all the difference... it can convince people, make them dream, make them imagine how that product can fit into their life, even for the most simplest of products.

copywriting the web design package does not include copywriting, only light editing if I happen to come across mistakes in grammar or spelling, typos or I need the text to fit in a certain way, design-wise. You can buy my Copywriting Package if you need to fill up your website but you are not sure what to write... I am a whiz at this! Just remember, empty websites don't convince people, people love to have informations, things to read/watch, it makes them think they are getting more for their money.

social media If you have social media set up, I can link or embed it, however if you need it set up, you can purchase the Social Media Package. This will not only set up your account, but includes design for the banners and profile pics, descriptions, and importantly... social media templates for branding and to save you time in the future when you need to keep your social media updated and current. I work with facebook, instagram, youtube, vimeo. Please talk to me about any other platforms you might require.

48 hour completion I offer web design completion in 48-hours, however please take into consideration that this is only possible if you give me all the information I require upfront, and for some web design features, this might only be able to be completed once you have purchased the Wix Premium Plan (web hosting) which some clients do after the initial web design has begun. So I will present you within 48 hours a completed website, however it will likely still require revisions or such things as linking up the domain name or social media, or adding additional bells and whistles only available once hosting has been paid for.

14 day support This 14-day support begins on the day that I present you the completed website, minus your revisions. You can ask me for revisions, changes, updates, support using the Wix platform for up to 14-days at this point.
