One of the best and most overlooked ways to lose weight, tone up and stay fit --pretty effortlessly-- is jogging on a rebounder. In as much as 10 minutes a day, you can see quite a difference within less than a month. Some people choose to do 5 minutes a day while other 20 or 30, but whatever you do, you can be sure you will start feeling more alive! Energy levels pick up, your metabolism starts speeding up, you feel more agile in your body, your circulation and lymphatics will also improve. You will notice water retention disappear. It sounds to good to be true, but I promise you it's not. I have had a mini trampoline for 20+ years and people always laugh at me when I tell them how I get fit... saying, "that's so 80s". Well, I was born in the 80s, so I never jogged in the 80s but I am sure these ladies know a little something about something back in those days. You will also notice that you will huff and puff less, and if you put on a movie or youtube video, the time will go very fast. Another pro about this piece of equipment, if will never harm your joints, like joggin might do on the hard concrete, and because the muscles are engaged for longer with each step, meaning your are not just engaging your muscles until the ground but further past the ground, the trampoline gives you more of a workout than jogging, hence the faster results. I personally cannot jog in the street, I find it uncomfortable and after 2 blocks I am huffing and puffing, but with the trampoline, I can do 20 minutes or more without huffing and puffing.

Please take a moment to google "the health effects of jogging on a rebounder/mini trampoline" and you will see the amount of studies that show how great it is. Most especially credited with jump starting the circulation and the best thing you can do for the lymphatic system.

My 80 year old father is a writer and sits a lot in front of his computer, but he still managed to get up and do 5-10 minutes of this a day to keep his joints nice and loose. The rebounder certainly helps to loosen up your joints, especially in the morning. Depending how lazy I am, I will do 5 minutes of 30 in the morning, straight out of bed before anything else. It helps loosen up my stiff joints and kinda gets me happy to then do more exercise, usually yoga.

 

IMPORTANT:
The trampoline arrives folded in half and needs some assembling, it is not difficult, but it does require more than one person, in my case, we were three flatmates, by myself I couldn't and almost injured myself. The hardest part is the unfolding, the rest is easy. So please expect to invite a friend over for a cuppa tea and a trampoline assembly session!

 

FYI: The handle is optional, in my case I don't attach it. For people who are not so steady on their feet, they might like the added security.
